Avilov Arseny Fedorovich

Awards: commemorative medals - "20 years of victory in the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945.", "40 years of victory in the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945." and "70 years of the Armed Forces of the USSR"; medal - "One hundred years since the birth of V. I. Lenin"; medal - "Veteran of Labor". By the decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of March 11, 1985, he was awarded the Order of the Patriotic War of the first degree. He took part in the Great Patriotic War against Nazi Germany on the Voronezh, Bryansk and second Ukrainian fronts. From an early age he began to help his father with the housework. In 1917 he graduated from a rural elementary school, after which he began working with his father in his household. In 1920 the family became a member of the Krasnaya Zvezda agricultural commune; in this agricultural commune, and later agricultural artel, he worked as an ordinary worker until 1925. From January 1923 to June 1925, Arseny Fedorovich worked as the secretary of the Nasonovskaya rural cell, first of the Russian Ypung Communist League, and from 1924, after the renaming of the Komsomol organization - Komsomol. From January 1930 to July 1935 A.F. Avilov was a student at the Moscow Institute of Mechanization and Electrification of Agriculture. After the distribution, A.F. Avilov worked as a senior mechanic at the Veidelevskaya MTS of the Voronezh Region, then was transferred to work as the director of the Rzhaksy interdistrict overhaul workshop, where he worked until October 1937. On October 3, 1937, he was arrested and charged under Article 58, paragraphs 7 and 11 of the RSFSR Criminal Code. Was under investigation in the Voronezh prison for 2 years, 2 months and 6 days. On December 9, 1939, at the court session of the Voronezh regional collegium of the court, he was acquitted by the court and released from custody. The Tambov regional party committee restored his rights as a member of the CPSU. After returning to his family, A.F. Avilov worked as a physics teacher at the Budennovsk secondary school and a teacher at the Budennovsk agricultural college. On July 14, 1942, he was seriously wounded at the front near Voronezh. He was treated in a military hospital in the city of Ranenbaum, Ryazan region until October 1, 1942. After recovering, he was again sent to the front. Being retired, A.F. Avilov took an active part in the social life of the village, for many years he was the chairman of the village comrades' court and was repeatedly elected a people's assessor of the Krasnogvardeisky district court. He died in June 1988.
