After completing a 6-month machine gun school in the city of Kansk, Krasnoyarsk Territory, with the rank of sergeant, he was sent to the 105th Infantry Division of the 1st Belorussian Front near the city of Pskov. He took part in the battles of Vitebsk, Mogilev, defended Lithuania, Latvia, went through East Prussia, participated in the assault on Konigsberg. Was wounded twice. He met victory in the hospital, healing the wounds received during the crossing of the Neman River. Demobilized from the army on October 22, 1945 with the rank of sergeant.
