October to March 1942 as part of the 23rd Cavalry Division, he ended up in Iran. By this time, the Commander of the Transcaucasian Military District received the Directive of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief Stalin: "To the Commander of the Troops of the Transcaucasian Front and the introduction of two armies into Iran" on August 23, 1941. 05h10m. The directive reads the following: “In order to ensure the security of Transcaucasia from sabotage by the Germans working under the auspices of the Iranian government, as well as to prevent attacks by Iranian troops against our borders, the Soviet government on the basis of Article 6 of the Soviet-Iranian Treaty of 1921, by virtue of which the Soviet government has the right to send troops to Iran, if the orders of the Iranian government poses a threat to the USSR, the Soviet government decided to send troops to Iranian territory. " In the implementation of this Directive from March 1942 to July 1946. Isuf Patovich took an active part together with the 2nd separate squadron as a foreman. During this period, being on the territory of a pro-fascist country, Isuf and his militant friends fought against those who wanted to stop and destroy the channel of humanitarian aid and military assistance from friendly states in the south of the country. After demobilization from the armed forces in 1946. returned to his native village, got a job on a collective farm. He worked in various parts of the collective farm's agriculture, worked as an assistant (accountant) for the foreman. In 1946, he joined the ranks of the (CPSU), took part in the implementation of the party's instructions to restore the collective farm. He was appointed a foreman of a livestock farm, became a member of the collective farm board, and worked as a foreman of a field-breeding brigade. In recent years, Isuf worked as the head of a warehouse for the issuance of fuels and lubricants and chemicals, fertilizers for the fields of the collective farm. All these years, Isuf Patovich was an example of an honest and conscientious person. Isuf Patovich after a long and serious illness, died 03.03.1971. He was awarded the medal "For Victory over Germany in the Great Patriotic War" and other commemorative medals.
