CITY: s. Yudikha, Tyumentsevsky District, Altai Territory DATE OF BIRTH: 11/17/1906 DATE OF DEATH: 07/10/1971 HISTORY: Type of troops: Ground Forces, Air Force (except naval aviation), coastal service, NKVD troops, border troops .My father Lobanov Nazar Kuzmich's father died early Kuzma and mother Paraskovya, leaving the young Afanasy, Nazar and Mareya, were raised by their grandmother Domna Fadeevna and grandfather Andron. Lobanov Nazar Kuzmich, born on November 17, 1906, was drafted to the front in 1941 by the Tyumentsev RRK in the ranks of the Red Army as a private soldier, one of the first from the village of Kiprino, and together with his brother Afanasy were sent to a transit point in Saratov. After that, their paths parted and never crossed again. My father fought on the Stalingrad front, he said “the sky was not visible because of the flying German planes, there was a continuous hum, the soldiers, quickly dug their way into the ground with whatever they could, dug trenches, the ground was burning underfoot, only the sounds of“ zip, whack, whack "- these were mines falling on the heads of defenseless soldiers. The Volga was overflowing with the bodies of Russian, German soldiers, the water boiled from exploding shells and was red from the blood of the dead soldiers. Nazar Kuzmich with a wagon train brought ammunition to the front line. He had two horses: Sergo and Kaury, he loved them very much and, when he had the opportunity, fed them with a rusk or a piece of sugar. The cart was loaded, and they went to the front line. Sometimes everything went well, but often the Messerschmitts chased them, when the planes dropped mines on the train, the father took his horses by the bridle and ran with them. If there was a forest nearby - to the forest or bushes, and if there was not - they lay down in a rut, and he was next to the horses, but there were people among the Germans too. The pilots, seeing how a small man saves not himself, but his horses, low, on a shave, flew over him and flew to their bases, but one day they threw mines. Three planes flew to the base, and one chased his father's carriage and dropped a mine. One horse, Serko, was killed, his father's finger on his right hand - a ring finger- was torn off. A splinter from a mine hit the chest, and there it stuck on the main artery of the heart. The father was taken to the hospital, the finger was sewn up on his hand, but the splinter remained in his chest, because there was no way to remove it. In the hospital, my father lay for a long time, one day a military doctor came to them and said “lie down, don't get up, now Zhukov will come to you” after a while the door opened and Zhukov entered. Father was lying far away against the wall, Zhukov greeted everyone nearby, shook hands, wished everyone a speedy recovery and left. All the wounded were in a good mood that they were not forgotten. Stalin also came to the front line, his father did not see him, but said that he went down into the trenches and encouraged the soldiers with the words “be strong, victory will be ours!” After he recovered, his father was given another carriage and sent to the 3rd Belorussian Front in the Vitebsk direction. He was awarded medals "For Military Merit" and "For Courage". Near Berlin, the unit was disbanded and the father went with his horses to the collective farm, handed over the horses and the cart. He said goodbye to them for a long time: as soon as he was hiding behind the hillock, they rushed after him with a laugh. This was repeated three times. Then the chairman said "live with them in the meadow, let them get used to a peaceful life." Father went to the meadows, he took a break from the peals of the battle, and they got used to it, but as soon as a thunderstorm began, wherever they wandered, they ran, pressing their ears, to their father and immediately lay down on the ground, and at night the horses lay down with their backs to each other, so that the father could lie among them, and warm him with his body, so they slept together throughout the war. A week later, my father came to the village, tied the horses to a leash and walked away. As soon as he disappeared, the horses began to tear, laugh, rears up with tears in their eyes, with a pain in his heart, father parted with his Serko and Kaurym, with whom he went through the whole war.
