Belokon Andrey Zakharovich

Belokon Andrey Zakharovich was born on October 24, 1904 in the village of Berezanskaya, Ekaterinodar county, Kuban region (today Vyselkovskiy district, Krasnodar region). He was called to the front by the Krasnodar GVK in October 1941 and sent to the Krasnodar Infantry School, he was sent to the front in November 1941 as a marksman in the 1st Cadet Regiment of the 33rd Guard Rifle Division. He fought from November to December 7, 1941 on the southern front, from February 1942 to August 5, 1942 on the front North Caucasus, from November 14, 1942 to November 17, 1942 on the front in Stalingrad. He was wounded three times: on 7 December 1941 (shrapnel wound on his left leg), on 5 August 1942 (wound on his left arm and concussion), on 17 November 1942 (shrapnel wound on his right side, his spine was touched). He took part in the fights with the German occupying forces near Rostov and Stalingrad. He distinguished himself in the fights near the village of Kletskaya in the Stalingrad region (Volgograd). Quote from the award list (award of the Order of the Patriotic War II degrees): "July 26-27, 1942 in the Kletsky Directorate of the department temporarily commanded by A.Z. Belokon destroyed 2 machine gun points, killed 5 fascists and took 5 prisoners. As they were in the secret service, they shot at a German car from an ambush, and the wounded driver with the car was taken to their unit". For this achievement he was awarded the medal "for military merits" (not received because of injury, in the future instead of the medal he received the Order for the Patriotic War II). Released from the Red Army with one exception from the register in February 1943. He got a disability of the group II. After the war he worked as a history teacher at school № 48 in Krasnodar. Decorated with the Order of the Patriotic War II (November 6, 1945), with the medal "For the defense of Stalingrad" (January 4, 1949), with the medal "For the victory over Germany in the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945". 6 November 1985, in honor of the 40th anniversary of Victory with the medal "For the Patriotic War I. Grades". He died on 4 March 1987.
