Belorukov Veniamin Stepanovich
Belorukov Veniamin Stepanovich was born on October 10 1924 in the village Oskolkovo of the Aleysky district of the Altai territory of the RSFSR. According to the decree of the SNK and CEC of USSR from 01.02.1930 he was deculakized and in 1931 was sent to a special settlement in the Parabelsky district of the Tomsk region; lived in the village Shkolny and was registered with special settlers in the Vysoko-Yarskaya village commandant's office. In accordance with the Decree of the Council of People's Commissars of the USSR No. 1143-280s of 10/22/1938, as having reached the age of 16 in a special settlement, Veniamin Stepanovich was released from the special settlement regime on 11/14/1940. Conscripted into the Red Army 25.09.1942 by Parabel RVC Tomsk region. He was trained for 6 months in Berdsk, Novosibirsk region. From June 1943 till December 1945 V.S. Belorukov served in the 849th Yassk Artillery Regiment of the 294th Rifle Division as a commander of the Communications Department in the rank of "NCO". In the active army - from 25.08.1943 to 05.09.1944 and from 30.10.1944 to 11.05.1945. He liberated Belarus, Ukraine and European countries, received 14 commendations from command 294th Infantry Cherkasskaya red banner orders from Suvorov, Kutuzov, Bogdan Khmelnitsky Division for the crossing of the Prut, the Dniester, the Oder and the liberation of the cities of Beltsy, Iasi, Radomsk, Cherkassy, Smela, Hoshi, Wroclaw, Asgrow and Ils for the invasion of Silesia, the elimination of Nazi groups and escape groups to the west of Sandomierz. He was wounded twice. He received Belorukov’s awards - 1st Medal "for bravery" (15.10.1943) - "for what he did on 07.10.1943 during the battle on the right bank of the river Dnieper under heavy machine-gun fire from the enemy, at the risk of his life, eliminated up to 20 gusts of communication lines, thus ensuring uninterrupted communication during the battle. "2nd Medal" for bravery "(12/23/943)" in the battle for the city of Cherkassy. Belorukov V.S. was the first to rise to the enemy and launch a counterattack together with the infantry, destroying two German soldiers with personal weapons. Comrade Belorukov, with a signalman under the nose of the stopped German tanks, which fired on CP from that spot, corrected up to 12 damages on the line and restored communication. "3rd Order of the Patriotic War II degrees (30.03.1945) - " for the period of offensive fighting from 12.01. to 19.01.1945 Comrade Belorukov personally eliminated 24 gusts of telephone lines under heavy artillery and machine gun fire from the enemy, killed 5 German soldiers with his personal weapon. 4th medal "for the victory over Germany in the Great Patriotic War" (09/05/1945). The 5th medal "for the degree of the Patriotic War I" (06.04.1985). Veniamin Stepanovich, after he returned home from the war, worked as a leading cattle breeder in the collective farm, then in the timber industry in logging and rafting. In 1961 he went with his family to Kazakhstan, where he worked in ore mining for 13 years. He had 4 children and 6 grandchildren. V. S. Belorukov died of lung cancer on 01.03.1999.
