Alexey Fyodorovich Glukhov
Rank: Petty Officer. Type of Troops: Armored and Mechanized Troops. Division: 25th Panzer Division. I want to tell about my grandfather on my mother Glukhov Alexey Fedorovich, who was born in the village of Lavrentievka, on March 11, 2017 he would have turned 101 years old. According to the stories of my elder aunt Makarova (Glukhova) Nadezhda Aleksandrovna, to whom, in turn, my grandmother Glukhova (Nagornova) Maria Yegorovna (mother of many children) told this, my grandfather was drafted to war in the fall of 1941, while he lived in the territory of the Ukrainian SSR , in the Voroshilovograd region (currently Lugansk), in the Starobelsk district, where he served as a tanker in the Red Army. After completing the service, he stayed there and got married. When the war began, he sent his wife to Lavrentievka to her parents. The very same grandfather Alexei on November 6, 1941, the Starobelsky Military Commissariat sent to the 25th tank brigade, which left Rovenka and was heading to the Moscow direction (Western Front) in an echelon, the brigade took part in the defense of Moscow, in the liberation of Orel, participated in the battle of Kursk and others battle, one newspaper is not enough if you trace the entire path of the brigade. Grandfather fought in the 2nd tank battalion of the 25th tank Kirovograd twice Red Banner Order of the Suvorov brigade, in June 1943 he was slightly wounded, since June 1944 he fought in the brigade on the 3rd Belorussian Front, liberated Belarus, for which he was awarded the Order of Glory of the 3rd degree , from September 1944 he fought on the 1st Baltic Front, liberated the Baltic States, there he was awarded two Orders of the Red Star. Aunt Nadia says that my grandfather had all his chest in orders and medals for the capture of different cities, he was very careful about them, after the grandfather was gone, the children all the awards “played” somewhere, I found only the above listed ones through the website of the Ministry of Defense orders, with award sheets and orders. The brigade in which the grandfather fought ended the war by advancing on Berlin. After the war, my grandfather returned to Lavrentievka, his wife did not want to stay in the village and went home to Ukraine. My grandfather did not go after her, he went to work at the Kostinskaya MTS as a mechanic, according to the stories of Maria Mikhailovna's grandmother, there they met with grandfather Alexei Ivanovich. In 1950, grandfather Alexei Fedorovich met with grandmother Masha, her husband Alexander died in the war, she raised two daughters, in the same year they got married. Grandfather moved to live in Sergeevka, they first lived outside the village, in the so-called "Samovolievka", worked as a machine operator on a collective farm, was in good standing, he was given a new tractor as a good worker and participant in the war. For 12 years of their life together, she and her grandmother had two boys and two girls. Soon we moved to a new house in the village, which the collective farm allocated to my grandfather, I still remember it, the house is lined with red brick, and they still live in it. During that difficult post-war period, there were some "personalities" in Sergeevka who did not allow the new front-line soldier to work normally, spoiled new equipment, and threatened. Grandfather tried to persuade grandmother to move to Lavrentievka, but did not have time, in the summer of 1962 he died tragically, leaving his grandmother with six children. She punished herself very much for not listening to him at that time. This is how the life of a front-line soldier who went through the whole war, burned in a tank more than once, survived, returned home, began to live and build a new peaceful life, was suddenly cut off, but they were not allowed to finish building.
