Grishin Konstantin Vasilyevich was born in 1904, in the village of Kruglovo, Mukhtolovsky district, Gorky region. Was drafted into the army on 08/30/1941 by the Ardatovskiy Military Commissariat, Gorky region. Type of troops: Engineering troops. In April 1942 my grandmother received a notice that her husband, K.V. Grishin missing. In the Book of Memory of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, the date of retirement is fixed - 02/20/1942. As it turned out, our grandfather did not die in 1942. In the archival data of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation (TsAMO archive), we found an order for the troops of the 31st Army No. 049 dated April 15, 1944 on awarding the Red Army soldier K.V. Grishin. Order of the Patriotic War II degree. My grandfather, a sapper, was awarded for mining in December 1943 in the Dobromysl region (Baranovichi, Vitebsk region, Belarus). The award list of March 16, 1944 was signed by the Commander of the 113th OIMB (separate motorized engineering battalion) Liman. This order also states that K.V. Grishin was wounded three times - in December 1941, in February 1942, and in August 1942. Information about military unit 113 OIMB (in which my grandfather served) - the honorary name "Stanislavsky", since 06/30/1943 the battalion was part of the 6th IRFS. The Engineering Battalion was part of the 31st Army (July 15, 1941 - May 11, 1945). The 31st Army was created in the Moscow region, for the Ostashkovo-Selizharovo-Rzhev line. In December 1941 she took part in the battles for the city of Kalinin. January 1942 - Lotoshino, Rzhev. Since July 1942, the army became part of the Western Front. November-December 1942 - Operation Mars (Second Rzhev-Sychevskaya operation). 1943 - Smolensk and Rzhev-Vyazemskaya operations. Exit to the Dnieper, on March 20, 1943, the army crossed the river. 1944 - Vitebsk operation as part of the 3rd Belarusian Front. In August 1944, 31st Army reached the border with East Prussia - Operation Bagration. In March 1945, a military echelon passed through the Mukhtolovo railway station (where our grandmother lived). During the parking, the grandmother was found by a colleague of her grandfather, who told her that Grishin Konstantin Vasilyevich had died during mine clearing in the Kursk region.
