Krasinsky Dmitry Ivanovich
Subdivision: 1st Guards Rifle Division Probably many of the fire-dwellers of the 60-70s remember D.I. Krasinsky. Always fit, athletic. All this has happened to him since childhood, from the wartime. Unlike others, he did not boast of his military awards. Sometimes he put them on on Victory Day ... Dmitry Ivanovich was born in 1924. Dmitry Ivanovich was drafted into the army by the Khvorostyansky district military enlistment office on February 11, 1943. The Red Army, having defeated the Nazis at Stalingrad, began the expulsion of the enemy from the territory of our country. Private Krasinsky began to fight in the Red Banner Rifle Regiment of the 312th Smolensk Red Banner Order of Suvorov Rifle Division. A platoon of foot reconnaissance had to walk many roads. He took his first battle on August 20, 1943. Then the fronts will change. He fought in the Western, 2nd Baltic and ended the war on the territory of defeated Germany as part of the 1st Belorussian Front. For a soldier, each award is very dear, especially the first one. On August 6, 1944, his chest was decorated with a medal "For Courage". Dmitry Ivanovich was one of the first to cross the Vistula River. On the western bank, our soldiers captured a bridgehead and held it until the main forces arrived. The scouts were ahead. Krasinsky "under continuous artillery and machine-gun fire of the enemy gave accurate deviations of the gaps in the enemy infantry and tanks ...". According to its exact coordinates, it was possible to knock out two tanks with black crosses on their armor and destroy an armored personnel carrier with enemy infantry. On January 28, 1945, fierce battles unfolded for the outskirts of Gurchin in the large Polish city of Poznan. A group of intelligence officers, which included Dmitry Ivanovich, came across the superior forces of the Nazis. Our fighters entered into an unequal battle with the enemy. Krasinsky also distinguished himself in it, when "a group of German machine gunners and three machine guns opened fire on a group of intelligence officers ...", among whom was the regiment commander, Hero of the Soviet Union Shevchenko, "... Red Army soldier Krasinsky, under enemy fire, neglecting the danger, covered the commander's retreat with his machine gun fire a shelf". On February 1, 1945, Dmitry Ivanovich was awarded the Order of Glory of the 3rd degree for saving the officer. Soon, Soviet troops entered Germany. There were only a few months left until Victory. The Nazis resisted with the tenacity of the doomed. On April 16, 1945, fighting began in the area of the small German town of Lebus, where the enemy created a deep echeloned defense. Dmitry Ivanovich, being an observer, "the timely detection of the enemy's mortar made it possible for artillery to suppress it and open a clear path for the advance of a rifle company." Our fellow countryman also distinguished himself on April 25 in the battles for the city of Kleindorf. As a scout-observer, he helped our artillery to destroy the enemy artillery battery with well-aimed fire and "thereby ensured the successful completion of the combat mission." For the heroism and courage shown in these battles, Dmitry Ivanovich was awarded the Order of the Red Star. Dmitriy Ivanovich was demobilized only in 1947 and returned to his native Khvorostyanka. Initially he worked in the local district House of Culture, and then as an accountant and chief accountant at the Khvorostyanskaya oil depot. Together with his wife Taisiya Nikiforovna, who worked for a long time in the Khvorostyanskoye general store, they raised two daughters. The eldest Lyudmila graduated from the Bauman University and to this day works at the Khrunichev Space Center. The youngest Natalia lives in Lipetsk and helps her daughter raise two granddaughters. Dmitry Ivanovich, unfortunately, lived to be insulting little. Front-line wounds affected. The first time he was seriously wounded on September 18, 1943, the second time on August 6, 1944. In 1977 he was gone. (We would like to thank his youngest daughter Natalia Dmitrievna Krasinskaya-Zhiryakova for preparing this material about the front-line soldier D.I.Krasinsky).
