Before arriving in the regiment, he worked in the 3rd anti-aircraft artillery regiment (ZAP) as a flight commander, where he retrained 49 single crews from SB to PE-2 without breakdowns and accidents. The squadron took over on June 6, 1944. 3 days before the start of the fighting, he commissioned 5 crews who had just arrived from schools, which took part in the combat work of the regiment on 02/26/1944, and bombarded the Tartu airfield with the group leader. 13 aircraft were destroyed and 12 damaged. - carried out photographic reconnaissance of the region of the Narva River defensive zone with a single crew. The target was photographed, they were attacked by two ME-109s, the attacks were repulsed. 07.03.1944. - bombed the Tartu airfield, destroyed 24 aircraft, 20 buildings and one anti-aircraft battery. 09.06.1944 - twice bombarded the fortified strongholds of Beloostrov and Kollomyaki, noted direct hits on pillboxes, trenches and the fire system. - bombarded the fortified area, trench and fire systems west of Staro-Beloostrov, as well as the fortified area of Kollelovo, direct hits on trenches, firing points and communication routes were noted.
