Conscription: Drafted into military service on January 10, 1943 by the Usolsk city military commissariat of the Irkutsk region. He took the oath of office on February 10, 1943 with 32 rifle divisions. From January to May 1943 he served in the 32nd rifle division as an automatic rifleman. From May 1943 to October 1944, as a cadet, he was trained at the Trans-Baikal Shooting School in the specialty "mortarman". From October 1944 to November 1945 he served in the 67th Infantry Regiment of the 41st Infantry Division in the position of "blasting instructor".
