Kondurov Nikolay Semyonovich

Rank: Foreman of the armed forces: aviation. Kondurov Nikolay Semyonovich was born in a peasant family. In the first months of the war, the government decided to create the Lipetsk special reserve aviation regiment to protect the leadership of the Stavka country. All this time, my grandfather served as an aircraft technician, the Lipetsk aviation regiment was very often used in military operations, my grandfather hung bombs and repaired aircraft. When the Germans came close to Moscow and captured the nearby Efremov and Zadonsk, the entire Lipetsk aviation regiment, like many factories in the country, was evacuated deep into our country, to the Urals. My grandfather was in the service, and his family lived near Sverdlovsk, in the village of Timashevo. My grandmother hardly ever saw him. Only when he came and brought food from ration. My grandmother had 4 small children in her arms. When the Soviet troops drove the fascists away from Moscow, the air regiment was transferred back to Lipetsk, where my grandfather served until the Victory as a foreman mechanic. We all lived in a Military town. Only in retirement, he retired to the reserve, but did not give up his favorite business. He continued to work at Lipetsk airport, but preparing to fly is already peaceful planes. My grandfather was an excellent judge of aircraft engines. By the sound of the aircraft engine running, he could determine the cause of the engine failure, which helped prevent 2 cases of passenger plane accidents. My grandfather, Nikolay kondurov, was awarded a personalized watch for his professionalism. My grandfather had awards and decorations and a lot of letters of thanks. He was awarded the "Order of the red Star" and "Order of the red banner", the Medal" for Bravery", For the" Capture of Berlin" and others. Grandfather did not tell anything about his work, because of the secrecy of information, information was limited to jokes, and he was a modest person. My grandfather died early, at the age of 64. He was buried with military honors at the old military cemetery in Lipetsk. In Memory of my grandfather Nikolay Semyonovich Kondurov - forever in our memory. We are proud of our grandfather! Thank you for our Victory and for the clear sky above.
