Kurinov Ivan Petrovich
Rank: red army soldier. Type of service: - ground forces, - air force (except naval aviation), - Coastal Service, troops of the NKVD, - Border Guard. Kurinov Ivan Petrovich. The "Friendly" Team. On June 22, at exactly 4 o'clock, a fascist bomb fell on Soviet soil. Alarming shell bursts disturbed the peaceful work of millions of people. Komsomol members and Communists, at the call of the Communist party, rose up to defend their beloved Motherland. The terrible echo of the war reached our village. Our fathers and grandfathers went to the front. They were leaving, accompanied by the cries of mothers, wives, children, and the curse of the enemy. They carried in their hearts a burning hatred for the invaders of a foreign land. They stood in close-knit ranks and fought, not sparing their blood, not thinking about their lives. They fought for their Homeland, but each went into battle for his native piece of land, where his life years were spent, where his family remained. When the war began, Kurinov Ivan Petrovich was sixteen years old. He hated fascists and asked to go to the front to take revenge on them, to take revenge with all his might for their brazen invasion of another’s land. But he was only sixteen. Ivan realized that he and thousands of others just like him had to study to justify the feats of their fathers, to help them in a fierce battle with the enemy. They must not lose heart, must show their resilience and firmness in difficult conditions, must fight against adversity, so that the fascists would never see the weakness of the Russian people, no matter how difficult it was for them. And if they hadn’t have that willpower, how would they have been able to bear all the weight of the war, which lay on their shoulders? Ivan saw how difficult it was for his mother, and he was there for her in difficult moments. He tried his best to smooth her sorrows and helped her with everything. Time passed quickly. Ivan was already eighteen. And the war was still rumbling. The fascists wanted to seize Russian land in several months, to settle accounts with the Soviet people, but this attempt failed, and they took out their anger out on civilians, on the old and the little. Those were unprecedented atrocities. Ivan lived that life every day, listening to reports on the situation at the front. And then there was the long-awaited summons…He had to serve in Mogilev infantry school. And exactly six months later, Ivan was already at the front of the Patriotic War as part of the 292nd rifle regiment as a machine-gunner. The battles took place in the Oryol-Kursk-Belgorod direction. In one of these raging battles, Ivan Petrovich was wounded in his right leg and arm. He was on medical treatment in a medical unit. After the recovery, he returned to the front. But such was his fate. He was wounded again and was in the hospital for almost six months. He returned home on January 4, 1944 as a second-degree invalid. Ivan Petrovich spent a little time at the front. But the horrors of war that he had to experience, were remembered for a long time. In a short time, his temples went gray. ” Let our children and grandchildren honorably carry in their hearts the memory of the heroes who fought for their happiness, but shall they never be frightened bt the horrors of war, " said Ivan Petrovich. Ivan Petrovich Kurinov worked decently in his native collective farm. He was a cheerful, friendly person with an open soul. His fellow villagers loved him, and many turned for advice. And he could come to the aid at any moment, point out the right way out of a difficult situation. Ivan Petrovich loved his native village and its people with all his heart. And this is the most important thing in life. People loved him, and he reciprocated them. In such way you live a fun and happy life. So lived Ivan Petrovich.
