Bazykin Sergey Stepanovich

Bazykin Sergey Stepanovich was born on October 8, 1902 in the village of Temnikovo in the county Razinsky, Moscow district, Moscow Province (today the territory of the Balashikha district). His older brother was involved in the revolution of 1905. Sergey Stepanovich was one of the first Komsomol members in his community, one of the organizers (and according to some sources also the chairman) the village council. He served in the Red Army somewhere in Siberia, in special units (CHON). Member of the CPSU (b) / CPSU since 1925. For some time he worked as an authorized representative in the anti-criminal committees of the Balashikha district (documents have not been preserved). Among the party members he aimed at improving education and skills on the job. After completing his training, he was appointed first as an employee and then as director of the tourist photo factory. Over time, the factory was transformed into a tourist equipment factory of the Tourist and Excursion Department all Union Central Council of the trade unions (TEU vtssps). Before the war, the factory supplied all the necessary equipment, especially for polar expeditions and other scientific expeditions (tents, sleeping bags, sports shoes, backpacks, ice axes, etc.) At the beginning of the war, men from his factory went to the front, but did not reach the front line because production in the factory was stopped due to the lack of an experienced manager and men who built machines. During the war, the factory was set up to produce primarily large tarpaulin tents for the factory and the military hospital to house the wounded, the military uniforms. The factory was located in a barrack position. There were times, especially in early 1941, when the factory workers (90% of them women) did not go home, they slept for several hours directly at the machines - and almost all of them had children at home. Before 1945 Sergey Bazykin visited his family three or four times. He walked from Serpukhovka to Obiralovka station (today the town of Zheleznodoroshny) 25 kilometers on foot, as the railway worked only for the needs of the front. One of the visits home was a reward for being wounded in the head while rescuing the workshops and equipment of the factory during the Nazi air raid on Moscow. After the war Sergey Stepanovich Bazykin worked in the same factory almost until retirement and before retirement - in the departments of all Union Central Council of the trade unions (vtssps). After retirement - a personal pensioner of republican significance Excellent: - with the Order of the Red Star for exemplary performance of governmental duties (Decree of the Presidium of Supreme Soviet of USSR of 12 June 1945 No. 1372893), - with the Medal "For the Defense of Moscow" (No. 002473 of 1. Medal "For Valiant Work in the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945" (August 3, 1946), Medal "For Valiant Work" (1947), Medal "In Memory of the 800th Anniversary of Moscow" (No. 776285 of March 12, 1948), - Medal "For Valiant Work. In memory of the 100th anniversary of V.I. Lenin's birth" (April 1, 1970), - certificates of honor, diplomas and awards of various levels. He died on July 6, 1997.
