ALEXEY PETROVICH KUZMIN

Alexey Petrovich Kuzmin was born in 1914 in Ozery, not far from Moscow. At that time, Russia was ruled by Tsar Nicholas II. In August 1914, the first world war began and his father went to the front, the mother was left alone with three children. In October 1917, the civil war began. His childhood was spent on the street. He studied well at the school, and loved Russian language and literature. He finished 10 degrees. In 1935 he entered the Labor faculty at the training plant in Ozery. From 05.1936 to 06.1937, he served in the 5th airborne regiment of the far Eastern front. From 1938 to 1940, he was a head of the Department of Records management of 53d air bases of the 25 army. There are hundreds skydives on his account. The war caught him when he was a head of the 5th Department of the 625th battalion of the 25th army. From 04.1942 to 05.1943 he was appointed a commander of a rifle platoon of the 156th infantry regiment of the 25th army. From 05.1943 to 08.1943, a commander of the rifle platoon of the 556th rifle regiment 169 SD. On August 6, 1943, during the liberation of Oryol, he injured the left leg. Until November 1943, he was treated at the evacuation hospital № 3840. And back to the front! On 12 January 1944, on the 2nd Baltic front, he was seriously wounded in the shoulder (concussion). Until April 1944 he was treated in the hospital number 1327 in Nikolsk. He met the victory on Kalinin's frontline as a commander of the rifle platoon of the 63rd page of the 150th SD regiment. He got a military rank of a senior Lieutenant. My grandfather did not like to talk about the war, but he loved to read war memorials (series of books). He was very literate and educated. He did not return home after the war, as there was no place to go. His parents were killed in the bombing and his house burned down. His brother was killed at the front, his sister was captured. Grandfather went to the North, to Tsiglomen in Arkhangelsk region, met my grandmother and lived all his life there. He worked at the woodworking plant number 7, as a master of the 6th category. He gave more than 35 years to the plant, received the title of veteran of labor, and even was awarded the Veteran of labor medal! When I was 10, my grandfather took custody of me, and I started to live with my grandparents. My grandfather taught me a lot, and I will always remember him! But on April 14, 1995, two inhumans broke into our house and brutally killed my grandfather, my grandfather fought with them for a long time, but they were able to knock him down and kill him.... so tragically in peacetime, he lost his life. Defending our homeland, shedding his blood for peace, happiness, he was deprived of life ... ETERNAL MEMORY TO THE HEROES
