Gilmanov Rail Nurovich
Gilmanov Rail Nurovich was born on the 9th of April, 1933, in the village of Pachenka in the Nizhne-Tavdinsky district of the Omsk (now - Tyumen) region in a large family as the last, ninth child. Russian names were assigned to all children in this family in addition to Tatar (official) ones, for the convenience of communicating with Russians. Rail Nurovich's parents also had Russian names. Rail Nurovich's older brothers - Nikolai, born in 1909, Arkady, born in 1918, and Grigory, born in 1923 - participated in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945. After graduating from the Tashkent cavalry school in 1925 Nikolai served on the border with Afghanistan in the city of Termez and participated in battles against Basmach gangs. In 1928 he was awarded the order of the Red Banner of Battle. He was awarded the second order of the Red Banner of Battle, the order of the Red Star, as well as the medal “For Bravery" and other medals during the Great Patriotic War. He ended the war in May 1945 in Prague. Arkady served from 1937 as a military sailor in Vladivostok and in 1943 was transferred to the Black Sea. He finished the war in May 1945 in Bucharest. He was awarded the order of the Patriotic War of the second degree and medals. Grigory, who worked as a machine operator at a machine-tractor station (MTS) before the war, was a driver on military trucks throughout the war, and he has military awards. He finished the war in May 1945 in Vienna. Rail Nurovich himself, as a teenager, during the Great Patriotic War, worked in a stable yard and as a shepherd on a collective farm. Awarded the medal "For valiant labor in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945". In the post-war years thanks to the help of his older sisters and brothers, and, above all, his brother Nikolai Nurovich, he managed to get not only general secondary, but also higher legal education. After graduating from the Sverdlovsk law Institute in 1956 he worked for a quarter of a century in the Prosecutor's office in the following positions: a senior investigator at the objects of the USSR defense industry in the Irkutsk, Sverdlovsk, Kaluga regions and Moscow; a prosecutor of the investigative department of the Prosecutor's office of the Karaganda region (1961-1965); a prosecutor of the Prosecutor's office of the USSR (1988-1992); a prosecutor, a senior prosecutor of the office of the Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation (1992-1996). He retired in 1996 in the rank of a senior advisor of justice. In addition, over the years, he worked in the judicial authorities and courts in the positions of a senior consultant on personnel management of the second department of the Ministry of justice of the USSR (1971-1984), member of the Moscow city court (1984-1986), head of the Department for control and execution of judicial decisions of the Supreme Court of the RSFSR (1986-1988).
