In January-February 1944 he took part in the Korsun-Shevchenko operation, the destruction of the surrounded enemy grouping in the area of ​​the settlements of Shenderovka, Steblev, Khilki. From March 5 to April 17 he took part in the Uman-Botoshan offensive operation. During the operation, his division liberated the city of Uman (March 10, 1944), crossed the Southern Bug River, liberated the city of Yampol in the Vinnitsa region (Ukraine), and crossed the Dniester River. On the territory of Moldova, she liberated the cities of Soroca, Balti, Floreshty, and other settlements. She was one of the first to reach the state border of the USSR. Senior sergeant A.G. Korobeinikov distinguished himself in this operation from 8 to 10 March 1944 in battles on the outskirts of the city of Uman (Cherkasy region, Ukraine) and in its liberation. In the vicinity of the villages of Popovka, Ryzhovka and near the city of Uman, moving in the battle formations of the attacking infantry with his own gun, he fired direct fire at the enemy's manpower and equipment. In three days of fighting, he destroyed one tank, one 75-millimeter cannon, four machine-gun points with their calculations, more than 50 infantry. In the period from March 14 to March 19, he was among the first to cross the Southern Bug and Dniester rivers on improvised means, destroyed one tank, three guns, more than a platoon of the Nazis with the fire of his gun. Together with the advance group, he held the bridgehead until the main forces of the regiment approached. By the decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR dated March 24, 1945, for courage and heroism shown in the performance of military duty, senior sergeant Korobeinikov Afanasy Guryanovich was awarded the title of Hero of the Soviet Union with the Order of Lenin and the Gold Star medal (No. 5007). From August 20 to September 5, 1944, as part of the 52nd Army, he participated in the Jassy-Kishinev operation of the 2nd Ukrainian Front. From April 16 to May 2, 1945, as part of the 52nd Army, he participated in the Berlin operation of the 1st Ukrainian Front, during which on May 8, 1945, advancing from the Nieder-Bielau region, the 373rd rifle division took the city of Görlitz. However, the German troops operating in front of the 52nd Army did not lay down their arms, but began to hastily retreat to Czechoslovakia in Prague. The division was ordered to pursue the enemy. Only on May 13, 1945 for the 373rd Infantry Division and for A.G. Korobeinikov, the fighting ended. Demobilized after the war. Lived and worked in the village of Kiyasovo.
