Krasilnikov Nikolay Petrovich
Rank: Senior Lieutenant. Type of troops: Artillery. Subdivision: 108th Guards Rifle Nikolayevskaya Red Banner Order of Suvorov Division. Krasilnikov Nikolai Petrovich was born in the Tatar ASSR in 1922. Here he lived in the village of Klyaush, Takanysh district with his family. He began his military career in 1941. Krasilnikov N.P. He fought in the Transcaucasian Front, as a platoon commander of a separate 120 mm mortar division of the 10th Guards Red Banner Rifle Brigade. In December 1942, in just two weeks of fighting, his platoon destroyed 3 vehicles, 1 machine gun and 53 enemy soldiers. For this he was awarded the Medal For Courage. The war years passed. Krasilnikov N.P. managed to take part in battles as part of various fronts. These are the Second Ukrainian, Third Ukrainian and Fourth Ukrainian. By the fall of 1944, he became platoon commander of the headquarters of the artillery commander of the 108th Guards Nikolaevskaya Red Banner Order of Suvorov Division. In December of the same year, under heavy artillery fire, N.P. Krasilnikov. with a platoon of signalmen crossed the Danube River and established communication between the commander of the division's artillery and its subunits, thereby facilitating the successful offensive of the Soviet troops in this sector. For the courage shown by the guard, Lieutenant N. Krasilnikov was awarded the Order of the "Red Star". He also took part in the Balaton defensive operation, which was carried out from 6 to 15 March 1945 in the area of Lake Balaton. During the battle, Soviet troops repelled the offensive of the German army. By the beginning of 1945, Hungary remained the only ally of Nazi Germany. During fierce battles on February 13, 1945, the capital of Hungary, the city of Budapest, was taken. He took part in this battle - Guard Lieutenant Krasilnikov N.P. He met the Great Victory already in the rank of Guard Senior Lieutenant in Hungary, where he was awarded the Medal for the capture of Budapest. After demobilization from the Soviet Army, already in peacetime, Krasilnikov N.P. for a long time he worked on the construction of new coal mines in the Tula region, where he was a truck crane driver. In the 80s of the last century he retired, but nevertheless continued to work and run a personal subsidiary farm. In 1994 he was gone. Close people remembered him as a cheerful, merry and purposeful person.
