I. M. Gromozon was born on 09/11/1913, in Zhguli village Nolinsky uyezd, Vyatka province. In 1935, he was drafted to Red army for military service. After service in 1938, he worked in the kolkhoz "Dvigatel". During the Soviet-Finnish war (1939-1940), he was drafted for military training, and trained recruits in Kirov. In 1939, he married Ekaterina Petrovna Sheshegova, and in 1940, their son Vasily was born. The war destroyed peaceful life. I. M. Gromozov defended the Homeland from the first days of the war, and finished the war in Berlin. After the war, Ivan Mikhailovich continued working in the kolkhoz "Engine". Since 1946 he worked as the head of a livestock farm. Ivan Mikhailovich Gromozov was an honest and conscientious worker. Thanks to his work, the farm of the kolkhoz grew stronger every year. Kolkhozniks gave Ivan Mikhailovich great authority. In may 1950, the collective farms were enlarged, and the kolkhoz “Dvigatel” became a part of the kolkhoz, named after Kirov, which united five villages. Therefore, since 1950 I. M. Gromozov was as the Deputy Chairman of the kolkhoz named after Kirov, and as the head of the farm. The kolkhoz repeatedly changed its name: "Industria", "Named after I. V. Stalin", "Rassvet", one thing was unchanged - the honest and conscientious work of I. M. Gromozov. For military services, he was awarded the medals "for the victory over Germany in the great Patriotic war of 1941-1945", "for the capture of Berlin". In April 1985, on the 40th anniversary of the Victory, Gromozov Ivan Mikhailovich was awarded the order of the Patriotic war of II degree, although he was no longer alive. He was buried in Ilinskoe village. He died early, like all front-line soldiers, at the age of 70. The war never prolong life
