Gardi Gulmurodov
Gardi Gulmurodov was born on March 16, 1919 in the village of Skat in the Komsomolobodsky district of the Tajik SSR. After finishing school and receiving secondary education, in 1938 he began working as a primary school teacher in a rural school. In November 1939, he was drafted into the Soviet army. Then, because of Nazi Germany attack and beginning of the war, he participated in the Great Patriotic War from June 1941. Gardi Gulmurodov reached from Stalingrad to Berlin during the second world war. During the war he served in intelligence near Stalingrad as the commander of the detachment 121st of Cavalry regiment; as the Sergeantmajor of 62nd motor mechanics brigade; as a Sergeantmajor in a mortar squad; as an assistant commander of a platoon. He left the Armed forces in the rank of Guard Sergeant.
In 1942, during the next intelligence activity, he was surrounded together with his colleagues by the fascist army for 6 months. After icing of the Volga river, Gardi Gulmurodov and his colleagues were able to cross the river and reach the regiment. During this period, he was injured several times and received inflammation of the body, which later developed into chronic asthma. During the second world war, Gardi Gulmurodov was also a rocket artillery gunner. He was a participant in the Victory Parade in 1945 on Red Square. After the end of the second world war in 1946, he returned to the village of Sangvor in the Tajik SSR. On his return, until 1952, he was Director of a rural school, inspector of the Department of local public education, head of the Department in the district Council of people's deputies. In 1952, together with their family and relatives, they moved to the Vakhsh valley in the Jilikul district. He continued his career as an inspector of the financial Department of the district Executive Committee of Dzhilikul. In the same year, Gardi Gulmurodov was elected Chairman of the Kalinin collective farm in the Panj district. For 17 years, he was the Chairman of the collective farm, and during this period the collective farm has become one of the leading collective farms in the district and region. Gardi Gulmurodov actively participated in public life of the district. During the years of his work, he was a Deputy at various levels, namely:
1. 1952-1989-Deputy of the Village Council
2. 1959-1967-Deputy of the district Council of people's deputies
3. 1963-1967. - Deputy of the Supreme Soviet of the Tajik SSR.
On May 28, 1994, Gardi Gulmurodov died and was buried in the Dzhilikul district.
