Antonov Ivan Alexandrovich

HISTORY: Antonov Ivan Aleksandrovich 07/05/1925 - 05/07/1984 Ivan Aleksandrovich was born on July 5, 1925 in the village of Rogulikha, Krasnogorsk village council, Puchezhsky district, Ivanovo region, into a peasant family. He learned about rural labor early. After leaving school, he studied at the Factory andworks education in the village of Sokolskoye. When the Great Patriotic War began, Ivan Alexandrovich was 18 years old, he was immediately taken to the front. He fought in Belarus, near the city of Vitebsk. The battles were heavy and protracted. After the liberation of Demidov, the troops of the 43rd Army, where Ivan Aleksandrovich served, from October 1943 continued to conduct offensive and defensive battles to liberate Vitebsk and all of Belarus. On the liberated land of Eastern Belarus, the soldiers were greeted by the skeletons of furnaces and chimneys of burnt villages and villages. There were almost no civilians. The battles for Vitebsk began on the eve of the 26th anniversary of the Great October Socialist Revolution. In the early morning of November 5, 1943, at exactly 8 o'clock in the morning, volleys of army artillery and mortars were heard - a 4-hour processing of enemy positions began. Then dozens of Il-2 assault aircraft were taken into the air. The frozen ground trembled from a powerful bomb strike on the front edge of the enemy's defenses. The Nazis held on to their positions for a long time, but their nerves could not stand it, and they began to leave the first line of trenches and trenches, throwing weapons and equipment. The advance detachments of the advancing overtook the enemy. A hand-to-hand fight ensued. The Nazis launched fierce counterattacks with the participation of large tank forces and the support of six-barrel mortars with fire. The offensive in some areas continued for several more days and then gradually ceased. Troops of the 43rd Army approached close to the enemy's Vitebsk fortified area only by the end of December 1943. Ivan Aleksandrovich came from the war as an invalid, without his right arm and a deep wound in his chest. I was in the hospital for a long time. The post-war years were difficult, difficult, I had to work hard to feed my family. But, despite all the difficulties and problems, he married Klipova Anna Nikolaevna. They lived with Anna Nikolaevna all their lives, raised four children, all children were given the opportunity to get an education. In his younger years, Ivan Aleksandrovich worked as a postman in his native collective farm MTS (now SPK PZ "Leninsky Put"), then as a shepherd, grazing the collective farm herd of cows and sheep. It was hard to work with one hand, but he overcame all difficulties. He helped at home with the chores: sawed and chopped wood, carried water from the river on a yoke. But all the hard work lay on the shoulders of the wife. Children from an early age learned to help their mother. Someone was hanging out with the younger children, and someone else worked with her on the collective farm field: weed and fiddled with flax, in the fall they harvested potatoes. All work was carried out for workdays, money was not paid at all, so they ate only what they collected in their gardens and allotted land plots. Meat, eggs, milk were handed over to the state at the expense of taxes. But all the same, people lived amicably, cheerfully, helped each other. Life went on as usual. The children did not see the holidays, they helped their parents to earn more workdays. Ivan Alexandrovich and Anna Nikolaevna are agricultural workers, they gave all their strength to make the village live. They dreamed not of awards and glory, but dreamed of raising the collective farm, glorifying it with their labor. Ivan Alexandrovich was awarded the badge "25 years of Victory in the Great Patriotic War", the medal "For Courage", "30 years of Victory in the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945", the jubilee medal "50 years of the Armed Forces of the USSR", "60 years Of the Armed Forces of the USSR ". Ivan Alexandrovich Antonov died on May 7, 1984. (According to the memoirs of her granddaughter O.K. Siluyanova)
