Kurin Petr Mikhailovich

Kurin Pyotr Mikhailovich was born in 1907 in the village of Yamshchina, Insar region of the Mordovian Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic. Non-party, graduated from the 4th grade of the school. He was married to Anastasia Kurina, from this marriage came Mikhail, Claudia, Anatoly and Vasily. On 29 June 1941 he was drafted into the Red Army by the Insar RVC. The documents of the military transfer office PRB 36 3 SD show that Kurin P. M. left the unit on 27 July 1941. (File of PRB 36 3SD, reference number 2024, p. 508 of 2080). In the documents of the Leningrad transit point, registration card 61258, it is stated that Kurin Pyotr Mikhailovich arrived in the 804th Rifle Regiment of the 70th Rifle Order of the Lenin Division with wagons, was abandoned on 18 September 1941 because of injury and on 18 October 1941 20 2 O. B. V., who arrived again on 19 October 1941 at No. 268 at the headquarters of the 55th The last place of service - Rifle Regiment 804, Rifle Division 70 of the Lenin Order. He disappeared in December 1942 while defending the city of Leningrad. Kurin Pyotr Mikhailovich is listed in the Book of Memory of the Republic of Mordovia, Volume 4, page 538 of 647, and his memory is immortalized on the monument to the villagers who fell for their fatherland in their native village Yamshchina, Insarski district of the Republic of Mordovia. Unfortunately, his children are no longer alive, but there are grandchildren and great-grandchildren who live in their homeland, in the Republic of Mordovia, as well as in other towns, and honor his memory.
