Kirpichnikov Vasiliy Arkhipovich
Rank: Sergeant Vasily Kirpichnikov was born in 1922 in Neplyuevka village, Kartalinsky district, Chelyabinsk region. The only thing left - was a photograph, which the artist had written in the spirit of the time, and a funeral from which it was known that Vasily, then a young guy who later became a sergeant, fought bravely against the enemy and died. In August 1943 there was fierce fighting for Kharkiv. Later they are counted among the most important tank battles of the Second World War. Here is what we learned from a letter of the commander of the unit 64611 Dzyubin: "in the morning of August 14, 1943. A few kilometers from the city of Kharkiv, during a tank landing attack by our part of the enemy, your beloved son, Vasily Arkhipovich, the brave fell to death. Your son was in the days of the German summer offensive from August 6 to 12, 1943. Your son was in the most responsible areas during the days of the German summer offensive from July 6 to 12, 1943 and did not flinch during the enemy's heavy attacks with his calculation of 2 TR and personally took out a German tank and armored vehicle, for which he was awarded the Order of the "Patriotic War 2 St".When crossing the river, your son Vasily was the first to swim under the hurricane bombardment and the bombardment of enemy planes, reached the opposite bank and mercilessly destroyed its manpower and equipment, for which he was awarded the Order of the "Red Star" for the second time.3 For the second time, your son, who was the best party organizer in one of our divisions, raised dozens of communists in the spirit of boundless love for the motherland and devotion to the party of LENIN and STALIN. "Unfortunately, this is the only thing left of our grandfather. There were no children, he did not even have time to marry. He was only 22 years old! Of course, my great-grandfather Rodion, who also did not return from the war, and my great-uncle Mikhail, who was lucky enough to come out of the war alive (he lived his whole life with a fragment in his heart, but he left no descendants either), will never be forgotten! And our future generation will remember their military exploits, themselves. And may there always be a peaceful heaven above our heads! THANK YOU, MY GRANDFATHER, FOR WINNING!!!!
