Bogdanov Nikolay Pavlovich

Education: military - Pushkin Tank College, general secondary school. In the Armed Forces of the USSR since 1941. He participated in the Great Patriotic War from February 1942 to 1944. By order of GUK NKO No. 0790 of 02.10.1942, after graduating from the Pushkin automobile technical school, he was awarded the military rank of "Junior Lieutenant". From October 1942 to January 1943, he was a tank commander of the 30th separate tank training regiment in the city of Omsk. From January to May 1943, he was a tank commander of the 13th guards tank brigade of the 4th guards tank corps. From May to June 1943, he was the commander of the tank of the 3rd Reserve Training Tank Regiment. From June to August 1943, he was a tank commander of the 22nd separate guards tank regiment. From August to December 1943, he was treated because of a wound in the evacuation hospital No. 1959. From December 1943 to April 1944, he was a tank commander of the 22nd separate tank regiment. He was wounded in action on April 8, 1944. From April to June 1944, he was being treated for the wound. From June to September 1944, he was a tank commander of the 6th separate tank brigade. By order of GU BT and MV KA No. 019 of 06.10.1944, he was appointed commander of a tank platoon of the Sivash tank school. By order of BT and MV KA No. 0322 of 30.08.1945, he was awarded the military rank of "Lieutenant". According to the service record, during his time in the company, N. P. Bogdanov proved to be a disciplined officer. Working as a tank platoon commander, he knew his business well, both the material part of the tank and the tank weapons. He proved to be tactically competent, politically developed, demanding of himself and his subordinates. In public places, he behaved tactfully, was polite in conversations, actively participated in public work, conducted educational work among subordinates, and also worked on himself. By order of the MVO No. 05542 of 28.09.1946, the platoon commander of the tank battalion of the Guards Sivash Red Banner Tank Battalion Lieutenant Bogdanov Nikolai Pavlovich, was dismissed to the reserve under article 43 of item "a". After the end of the Great Patriotic War, he lived in the Arkhangelsk region. On February 27, 1955, Bogdanov Nikolay Pavlovich was elected as a deputy of Krasnovsk Village Council of Workers' Deputies of Priozerny district of Arkhangelsk region of RSFSR from constituency № 24.
