Kruglikov Evsey Zinovievich

Kruglikov Evsey Zinovievich was born in 1902 in the city of Mglin, Chernihiv province (now the territory of Mglin urban settlement of Bryansk region), in the family of a worker. In 1913, at the age of eleven, Yevsey Kruglikov began to work — and after changing several professions, he acquired the specialty of "tanner" at the leather barking factory, where he worked until October 1918. In July 1918, when he was sixteen years old, under the influence of his older brother, he joined the Klintsovo underground rebel organization, which fought against the German occupiers and the Haidamaks. In September, in connection with the disclosure and defeat of the underground organization, he was arrested by Klintsovskaya VARTA along with other members of the organization and imprisoned in Novozybkovskaya prison — he stayed there under the threat of execution until mid-December 1918, when the liberation of Chernigov by the 1st Ukrainian Soviet division was happen. In February 1919, Yevsey Kruglikov volunteered for the red Army and was sent to the Cheka cavalry detachment in Kiev, where he participated in a combat operation against the band of Zeleny ataman and fought in the battles for the liberation of the Vasilkov, not far from Kiev. In the autumn of 1919, he became a red army soldier of the 297th rifle regiment of the 14th rifle division of the 9th army of the South-Eastern front, and participated in the battles against Denikin's troops on Don. In the spring of 1920, due to the health conditions, after suffering from typhus, he retired from the red Army and returned to Klintsy, where he worked as a worker in the Department of military preparations (Voenzaga) for some time. In the same year, he joined the CPSU (b) and became a member of Klintsov party organization. A year later, in December 1921, he completed his studies at the provincial party school and became a leading worker of Communist party. He worked as an instructor of the Gomel city district party Committee, then as a head of the organizational Department, later served as a secretary of Cherikov and Rogachevsky district party committees, and was a Deputy Chairman of the Bureau of trade unions of Mogilev district. From April 1924 to January 1928, he again served in the red Army. Evsey Kruglikov took an active part in the Civil war. In 1929, at the height of the conflict on the China-Eastern railway, he became a Deputy chief of the political Department of the cavalry brigade. In 1936, he was appointed a military Commissar of the veterinary Institute of the red army. In a year after, he was promoted to the rank of the regimental Commissar. As a staff of the chiefs and Commissars of the military academies of the red army, he participated in the meeting of the Military Council under People's Commissariat of defence of the USSR. In 1939-1940, already a representative of the red Army's Political Department, he participated in the liberation campaigns of red Army units in the Western Ukraine and in the Baltic States. In 1940, he entered the Higher courses of improvement of the political staff of the red army at the military-political Academy named after V. I. Lenin. After graduation, he was appointed a military Commissar of Tula weapons and technical school named after Tula proletariat (TOTU). With the beginning of the great Patriotic war, according to the instructions of the Central Committee of the CPSU (b), he took an active part in organizing short-term training camps for Communists and Komsomol members of Tula, called "political fighters courses". In October 1941, as a military Commissar of the combined cadet battalion of the Tula weapons and technical school, he took part in one of the fiercest battles in the initial period of the war — the battles for Mtsensk. After the evacuation of TOTU to Tomsk, he continued to perform his official duties as a military Commissar of the school. In 1944, he completed an accelerated course of study at the Military Academy named after Frunze. Upon graduation, he was appointed a commander of the 139th guards rifle regiment of the 46th guards rifle division of the 4th shock army of the 1st Baltic front. At the end of 1944 appointed Deputy commander of the 90th rifle division of the 2nd shock army of the 2nd Belorussian front. In early 1945, he was appointed a Deputy commander of the 875th rifle regiment of the 158th rifle division. Yevsei Zinovievich Kruglikov finished the great Patriotic war with the rank of Colonel. After the end of the great Patriotic war, he was working in the Soviet military administration in Germany (svag) for more than two years and oppied the following positions: Head of the military sector headquarters of the Soviet military administration (USA) in Mecklenburg province (1945-1946); Deputy chief of staff of the USVA of Mecklenburg province (1946-1947); Head of the staff of the military commandant's office (UOVK) of Bautzen district in Saxony (1947). From September 1947 to January 1948, it was at the disposal of the Main personnel Department of the Ministry of defense of the USSR. He retired in January 1948. He worked as a censor of the Moscow regional and city Administration for Affairs of literature and publishing houses (Mosoblgeotrest). Evsey Zinovievich Kruglikov died in Moscow on June 4, 1987.
