GALICHANIN Karam Usmanovich was born in 1924 in the village of Bul-Kaipanovo. He went to the war before his peers. He fought from 1941 until the end of the war, was a signalman. He participated in the liberation of Poland, reached Germany, after the end of the war, serving for two more years, in 1947 he returned to the village. He was wounded three times. The metal fragment remained in his lower back to the very end of his life. He was awarded the medals "for Bravery"," for the Capture of Koniegsberg", "for the Victory over Germany in the Great Patriotic war" and the order of the Red Star. He had many commendations from the command. From the award lists: "on October 24, 1944, at the front line, corporal Galishanin provided telephone communication. Ten times the wire broke. And each time the brave Red Army telephone operator spliced the ends of the telephone cable under enemy mortar fire. For his courage and bravery in ensuring uninterrupted communication in the battles for the city of Augustov on October 31, 1944, comrade Galishanin was awarded the government award "for Bravery". And the following documents tell us that he was awarded the order of the Red Star for: "GALICHANIN - corporal, telephonist, in the offensive battles in East Prussia showed courage and bravery. During the battles for the villages of Sheiborn and Kleihauzenberg he set up the communication line while beeing under heavy enemy fire. In spite of mortal danger to his life GALICHANIN in a timely manner provide telephone service during all the offensive .
