His mother-Olichka-raised six children, two sons and four daughters. One of the daughters - Gabuyeva Zara Borisovna devoted her entire life to the education of children, taught in a rural school of Biragzang. When Taimuraz was 16 years old, the Great Patriotic war began. In 1942 at the age of 17, adding a year to his age, he volunteered for the front. He was enrolled as a Cadet in the Grozny military school. After completing the Lieutenant's courses, he was sent to the front line as the commander of a tank combat brigade. He served selflessly. More than once, Taimuraz's war machines were destroyed by the enemy. In the battles for the North Caucasus, once again the tank was hit, the soldiers moved from the tank to the trenches, whrere the nazi tank practically buried Taimuraz under it. He was saved by a fellow countryman, a native of Alagir Nazir Khamikoev. They were captured by the Nazis, locked in a barrack, which, while retreating, the nazi set on fire. Local residents rushed to rescue the prisoners. Two sisters saved him, they brought him lifeless on a sledge to their home and treated him till his health was restored. Repeatedly, during the long years of the war, his poor mother received letter on for her son death. After each wound, after recovering, he caught up with his unit and continued to terminate the enemy. Taimuraz served in the 1st Belorussian front under the command of General Zhukov. In the fight against nazi fascism, he reached Berlin, participated in the battles for the Reichstag, where he left his inscriptions on its walls. For two more years he stayed in Berlin working hard on its city life revival. Taimuraz returned home in 1947 but did not rest for a day. He spent his entire life at the forefront of agriculture in leadership positions. Always been the front-runner. He married and had four children. After retiring, he always participated in the Patriotic education of the younger generation. He passed away on 5.06.2010. Eternal memory to him!
