Andrey Andreevich Slukin Title: Red Army soldier. Branch of service: Land Forces, Air Forces (except marine aviation), the coast guard, the NKVD border troops. Division: 39th Guards Rifle Stalingrad-Barvenkovskaya ohfthe order of Lenin twice Red Banner of the order of Suvorov and Bogdan Khmelnitsky division. Andrey Slukin was born on September 22, 1925 in a peasant family in the village of Borinskoe. He went to the front as a volunteer at the age of 17, in October 1942. Participated in the Great Patriotic war from October 1942 to May 9, 1945. He served as a machine gunner. From July 1943 to December 1943 he defended his motherland in the 3rd Tank Chaplin-Budapest Red Banner brigade of the order of Suvorov, Kutuzov and Bogdan Khmelnitsky as a paratrooper. After being shot through the stomach on September 10, 1943, he was treated in a hospital in Alma-ATA until December 1943. After the hospital, from December 1943 to December 1944, he served in the 117th Rifle Regiment of the 39th Guards Rifle Division, formed from the 211st Airborne Brigade and the 1st Airborne Corps. The division from 20.01.1944 took part in the liberation of Ozarichi, 23.06.1944. in the offensive during the Bobruisk operation, advanced South of Bobruisk on Osipovichi, 27.06.1944 reached Osipovichi, participating in the consolidation of the encirclement ring around the Bobruisk enemy group, continued the offensive towards the Western border of the USSR, during the offensive participated in the liberation of Baranovichi (08.07.1944), Slonim (10.07.1944), Cheremkhi (20.07.1944). 05.09.1944, the division's advanced units crossed the river Narev, captured a bridgehead in the area of pultuska, fought on the bridgehead until January 1945. In these battles Slukin A. G. got a concussion and a blind bullet wound in the leg. After recovery, from December 1944 until the end of the war, he continued to serve in the 593rd Separate Sapper battalion of the 297th Rifle Slavic-Kirovograd Red Banner division of the order of Bogdan Khmelnitsky of the 2nd Ukrainian Front. Andrey Slukin finished the war in Austria. As the party fighting for the conquest of the cities Hollabrunn and Stockerau – important communications centers and powerful strongholds of defense of the Germans (Austria) – order No. 367 from may 8, 1945 the Supreme Commander Marshal of the Soviet Union comrade Stalin connection, which served Slukin A. G., gratitude, and great fighting for the liberation of the named cities Slukin A. G. submitted to the state award – the Order of Glory III class. He was also awarded the medals "Hor the capture of Vienna"and" For the Victory over Germany". After the end of the war, Andrey Slukin spent the rest of his life working at the state farm "Borinsky" in various specialties from machine operator to Turner. For his valiant work, he was awarded regional certificates of commendation, medals and the Order of the Badge of Honor. A. G. Slukin died on November 10, 1996.
