Sayenko Maria Dmitrievna Maria Dmitrievna Saenko (02.02.1918-05.01.1977). Maria Dmitrievna was born on February 2, 1918 in the village of Uspenka in the Izhmorsky district of the West Siberian Territory (now Kemerovo region). During the collectivization of the 1930s, her family moved from Uspenka to the working village of Yaya. In 1936, Maria Dmitrievna got a job in the Yaysky District Office "Kuzbasslesprodtorg" for food and industrial supplies of the People's Commissariat of the Coal Industry of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics as a cook, then became an assistant cook, and in 1941 – head of production of canteen No. 1, where she worked until April 9, 1942. In 1938, she married Dmitry Maksimovich Saenko, and on February 4, 1939, she gave him a son, Yevgeny, and on October 28, 1941, a daughter, Raisa. With the beginning of the war, her husband was called to the front, so Maria Dmitrievna became a housewife. After the war, Maria Dmitrievna gave birth to three more daughters: Lydia was born on may 2, 1947; Tatiana was born on March 1, 1953; and Natalia was born on August 2, 1957. On January 15, 1959, she was awarded the "Motherhood medal ll class"by I.N. Zimin, the Secretary of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR. Maria Dmitrievna remained a housewife until 1970. In addition to housework, she did needlework, sewed clothes and knitted shawls for sale from down, which she specially went to Barabinsk (Novosibirsk region) and Liski (Rostov region). From December 30, 1970, she worked at the Yaysky Bakery first as a shop technician, then from may 1971 to February 1974 as a Baker. On January 3, 1974, at the age of 56, she retired due to old age. In November 1976, due to persistent headaches as a result of a bruise, an examination was conducted, during which doctors of the Kemerovo Regional hospital diagnosed a tumor in the head – after which an operation was performed to remove it. She died on January 5, 1977, at the age of 58. She was buried in the cemetery (near the railway station) in the working village of Yaya, Kemerovo region of the Russian Federation.
