Innokenty Ilyich Tugarinov
Rank: Corporal. Military Branch: Artillery. Innokenty Ilyich Tugarinov was born in February of 1920 (according to his passport 15.08.1920) in the village of Khuldat, Dzhidinsky district, in the family of a peasant. The family was large and friendly - 13 children. His childhood was difficult, the sweet delicacy, remembered from those distant times, was a cherry tree. There in Khuldat in 1931 he graduated from the school (2nd form). When Innokenty Ilyich was 11 years old, his father died, and the boy had to go to work in the city of Gorodok to earn food for his younger brothers and himself. In Zakamensk, he got a job as a stable boy at a base. He carried hay and wood for the construction of the city. In 1941, he was drafted into the army. He went to the Eastern Front in the 649th Rifle Regiment, where he served as a senior machine gunner. In the same year, he was transferred to the 138th Artillery Division. Later he became a senior telephone operator in the 25th Mechanized Brigade. From August to September 1945, he participated in the war against Japan. He was discharged in June 1946 from the 25th Rifle Regiment with the rank of corporal. He was awarded the medal "Veteran of labor", the Order of the Patriotic War of the 2nd class, the medal" George Konstantinovich Zhukov", the medal “For theVictory over Japan", the order "Badge of honor". After the war, fellow soldier Kirillov Semyon called with him to Yakutia, but Innokenty returned home. At first, he worked as a prospector in an artel, and after passing exams, he began working as a driver. "I was lucky to get a new ZIL - 155 bus that took workers to Inkur," the veteran remembered. Back in 1946, he met his wife, Zinaida Georgievna Nazarova, who lived on Zarechnaya street, together with Innokenty Ilyich's mother. Here they had four children. And in 1957 they bought a house on Sportivnaya (Gorky) street. Until his retirement in 1970 and after, he worked as a driver of the 3rd class at the Dzhidinsky tungsten-molybdenum combine. He passed on his love for motor vehicles and cars to his sons, all three of whom work as drivers. And now the grandchildren have followed in their grandfather's footsteps. Innokenty Ilyich hopes that his great-grandchildren will not be able to do without the "iron horse"either. Innokenty Ilyich lived a difficult and interesting life. He lost his eldest son, Vladimir, and his beloved wife Zina, but he lived for his grandchildren and great-grandchildren (10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren). At the age of 91, Innokenty Ilyich died (14.08.2011). Only one day he did not live to celebrate his birthday. We lost another witness of those hard times and a beloved father and grandfather. Many thanks to you, our heroes, for the fact that we live in a free and strong country, do not know and do not want war, for the fact that we enjoy every happy and peaceful day! Low bow to you and eternal memory!!!
