Tkacheva ( Yakovleva) Anna (Nina) Nikiforovna
My great-grandmother Tkacheva (Yakovleva) Nina Nikiforovna was born on 28.11.1923 in the village of Belaya Glina in the Beloglinsky district of Krasnodar Region, where she spent all her childhood and school years. After finishing 7 classes in 1939, she entered the civil registry office of the Beloglinsky district, where she met messages about the beginning of the Great Patriotic War. My grandmother repeatedly applied for voluntary enlistment in the active army and Navy, where three older brothers Ivan, Alexander, and Lavrenty were currently serving in the Red army (Workers 'and Peasants' Red Army), and my elder sister Anna was in the Navy. However, it was all to no avail, she was enlisted only in the local fighter battalion as a fighter. During the day time my great-grandmother worked in the national economy like all others, and at night with other girls and old men studied military science, weapons and ordinances, was on duty for critical and important facilities to prevent sabotage. In may 1942, on the Komsomol special draft, she was drafted into the Red army. Among 25 girls of the district she served in the 3rd Company of the 2nd Battalion of the 3rd Searchlight Regiment of the Baku Air Defense Army, the Transcaucasian front, which was stationed near the city of Baku, Azerbaijan SSR. In August 1944, my grandmother, like many other military personnel, joined the All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks) and received a party ticket. During the battle for the Caucasus, parts of the Baku army repelled all attempts to break through the German – fascist aviation to break through to the "black gold" city of Baku and the oil industry facilities of the Absheron Peninsula from air raids. In March of 1945, when there were persistent battles on the outskirts of the lair of fascism in Berlin, her regiment was alerted at night and transferred by rail to the Far East . Where she took part in the war against militaristic Japan , where she met and celebrated the Victory Day over Nazi Germany (May 9, 1945), and soon the Victory Day over militaristic Japan in September 1945.
