Mavzyutov Gazis Zagrukovich _x000D_ _x000D_ My grandfather Gazis Zagrukovich Mavzyutov was born on November 24, 1924 in the village of Abdulovo, Cherdaklinsky district. He was baptized under fire on November 19, 1942 in the Stalingrad direction. The brigade had been in continuous combat until February 2, 1943. Having lost many tanks and people in the combat, the brigade was withdrawn from combats and sent to Tula. There they received a replenishment of personnel and new machines. The 1st Guards Don Tank Corps was preparing for combat on the Kursk Bulge ... Mavzyutov burned in a tank, was wounded many times, but survived. _x000D_ Being a disabled WWII veteran, he became a successful leader who won honor and respect among several generations of residents of the Ulyanovsk region. He began his career in the village of Abdulovo, where he worked in the Malo-Kandala Communist Department as a propagandist and deputy head of the propaganda and agitation department of the district party committee. Since 1950 (at the age of 26) he worked as the first secretary of the Staro-Kulatkinsky Communist Department. In November 1955, he became the head of the regional newspaper Znamya Lenina. After a while the energetic leader was recommended as the first secretary of the Novomalyklinsky district committee.
