In 1938 Petr Malyshev was drafted into the ranks of the Red Army. The service took place in the Far East in Sovetskaya Gavan in the maritime coast guard. During the service, he was trained to use a machine gun, mortar, heavy machine gun. After serving two years, he remained a civil servant. They guarded the settlements "Pervaya Rechka", "Vtoraya Rechka", which are closer to Khabarovsk. When the war began, he, like many others, was sent to the front from the town of Krasnaya Glinka, from the Otpor station. The train's route passed through his native land, the city of Inzu, past the native station of Kuzovatovo. In Inza, their echelon was reformed and continued its journey now to the city of Vitebsk, in 3rd Belarusian front. On the way, they were bombed, and he was wounded in the leg. From the hospital he went to the front. He passed the courses of the command squad, became the commander of the sapper squad of four. They employed mines and cleared the passages behind enemy lines. He had reached the city of Konigsberg and was wounded at its capture. In 1947, during the Japanese aggression, he was discharged. He was awarded the Order of the Red Star, the Order of the Patriotic War, 2nd degree, and the Zhukov Medal. _x000D_

"Comrade Malyshev, while securing the division at the achieved lines with his squad, worked at the front line under heavy enemy fire. He set more than 200 mines. On 9.03.1945 Comrade Malyshev kept the passage in the mine field for the advancing infantry units. They had passed through them without hindrance. On 23.3.45 Comrade Malyshev accompanied the divisional reconnaissance through the enemy's obstacle, coped with the mission in a perfect manner. "_x000D_
After war he worked as a mechanic at the kolkhoz "Fighter for Peace", Kuzovatovsky district, on a tracked tractor DT-75. The total work experience is more than fifty years. He raised six children.
