Sarina Antonina Alekseevna was born in 1903 in Penza. In the early 1920s, she was sent by Komsomol organization to the Far East, where she began her career. Since 1932 her political positions in Sevastopol were:the secretary of the party committee of the main military port; the deputy chief for general issues of the Hydro meteorological Service Directorate; second secretary of the City Committee of the All-Union Communist Party of Bolsheviks; chairman of the Ship District Council. From 1941 she was a Secretary of the City Committee of the All-Union Communist Party of Bolsheviks for Industry. Under the leadership and with the direct participation of Antonina Alekseevna the production of weapons, ammunition, and uniforms was established in the besieged Sevastopol (1941-1942). After the liberation of Sevastopol, A.A. Sarina was the second secretary of the City Committee of the CPSU (Bolshevik). Since 1950 she was appointed as Deputy Head of the Department for the Reconstruction of Sevastopol under the Council of Ministers of the RSFSR. In 1953, she became a Deputy Manager of the “Sevastopolstroy” trust. Retired since 1957. In 1957-1991 she was engaged in social work. She was named an Honorary Citizen of the Hero City of Sevastopol. Awards: Order of the “Patriotic War of the 1st class”, Order of the Red Star, Order “Badge of Honour”. Medal “For the Defence of Sevastopol”, Medal “For the Defence of the Caucasus”, etc. She died in 1997, was buried at the Communards cemetery.
