Belykh Anna Grigorevna

Anna G. Belykh Anna Grigorievna Belykh (1897-1988) was born in 1897 in the village of Olesheni, Zakharovsky village council, Kotelnichsky district, in a peasant family. In 1929 she joined the "Kolos" collective farm. A year later she was elected a chairman. The collective farm under her leadership received high yields of grain and flax, took part in the All-Union Agricultural Exhibition (VSHV). Then Anna Grigorievna headed the enlarged collective farm "Zavety Ilyicha". She was the oldest collective farm chairman in the region. She did a lot of social work. She was elected as a delegate of the II, III regional gathering of advanced collective farmers - the best workers of the Gorky Region (1933; 1934); a deputy of the Kirov Regional Council (1947);a deputy of the USSR Supreme Soviet of the 3rd convocation from the Kotelnichsky district (1950). She was awarded the medal “For Valiant Labor in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945”, the Order of the Red Banner of Labor (1950).
