Zyabtsev Alexander Petrovich, was born on August 21, 1925 in the village of Korovino, Semenovsky village council, Vichugsky district, Ivanovo region. In 1940, Alexander Petrovich graduated from a 7-year school in the city of Vichuga, Ivanovo region. After leaving school, in the pre-war period, he worked as a turner at the Vichugsky machine-building plant. On March 23, 1943, at the age of 17, A.P. Zyabtsev was drafted into active military service and sent to the 2nd mortar regiment, located in the area of ​​the city of Gorokhovets, Gorky region, where he served as a radio operator. From July to December 1943, Alexander Petrovich was a cadet of the 47th Reserve Artillery Regiment. In December 1943, he was sent to the front in the 122nd Rifle Corps as the commander of the radio department, where he served until the end of the Great Patriotic War. During the hostilities, Alexander Petrovich was directly involved in the liberation of the blockade of the city of Leningrad, as well as other cities of the Soviet Union and Europe from the Nazi invaders. For participation in hostilities Zyabtsev A.P. was awarded with combat medals: "For Military Merit", "For the Defense of Leningrad", "For Victory over Germany in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945", as well as the Order of the Great Patriotic War of the 1st degree, jubilee medals and badges. After the end of the war Zyabtsev A.P. continued to serve in the Soviet army as a radio department commander in the 610th artillery brigade in the city of Omsk and military unit 67777 in the city of Novosibirsk. On March 22, 1950 he was demobilized. Returning to his small homeland, he got a job at the Vichugskaya Spinning and Weaving Factory named after N.R. Shagov, where he worked in various positions: weaving assistant to the foreman, commodity manager of the supply department, head of the sales department, head of the transport department. In 1965 Zyabtsev A.P. graduated from the Vichugsky evening textile technical school, specializing in weaving. He worked at a textile enterprise until his well-deserved retirement, was an exemplary family man. Alexander Petrovich has always been a true patriot of his homeland, he infinitely loved his large family, Russian nature, hunting and passed this love on to his children and grandchildren. Zyabtsev A.P. passed away on June 25, 2012 at the age of 86.
