Alexander Mikhailovich Zlobin was born on September 1, 1922 in Moscow on Krasnaya Presnya in the family of a housewife and a working printing house. In 1940 he graduated from ten classes. In September he was drafted into the ranks of the Red Army. He served in Mongolia, received the specialty of a signalman. On June 21, 1941, an order was received to send him to the Higher Military Artillery School in the city of Kemerovo. And on June 22, the Great Patriotic War began. On February 3, 1942, he was sent to the active army. He took part in the battle for Voronezh, was wounded and was discharged. He was awarded the Order of Glory.
