Zaitseva Anna Fedorovna was born on November 14, 1903, in the village of Yurasovo, Glushkovsky district, Kursk region. Previously, there were more than 200 households in this village, but now there is almost no one left there - the village actually does not exist. Earlier in the village of Yurasovo there was the central estate of the Iskra collective farm, in which Anna Fedorovna Zaitseva has worked since the day of its foundation. During the Great Patriotic War, she, like hundreds of her fellow villagers, worked in a field-crop brigade and cultivated fields with sugar beets, grew grain crops - moreover, the front line was next to the village, passed along the Seim River. For some time, part of the Glushkovsky district was occupied by the Nazi troops - and the inhabitants of the village of Yurasovo helped the partisans as much as they could. The collective farmers who managed to evacuate worked in the fields in the unoccupied part of the Kursk region. Almost all of the harvest went to the needs of the front, the collective farmers had only a small portion for food, presented as "workdays". And after the end of the Great Patriotic War, it was not easy, Anna Fedorovna, together with her fellow countrymen, worked from morning till night, helping to restore the national economy destroyed by the war. Later, in the 50s, when the country had already recovered from the consequences of the war, it became easier on the collective farm, it was not necessary to work from dawn to dawn, almost without days off and holidays. Anna Fedorovna worked at the Iskra collective farm until her retirement in 1972, after retiring to a well-deserved rest, devoting herself to her family and raising her grandchildren.
