There were legends about Tuleugali Abdybekov on all fronts, the enemies were afraid of him and called him "the black death". Tuleugali Abdybekov was born in 1916 in the family of Abdybek Nasyrkhan in the Zharma district of the Semipalatinsk region. His father taught him to shoot accurately, to patiently track down prey, to endure hardships. And now the fame of the young hunter - tracker Tuleugali Abdybekov passes from aul to aul. His hunting trophies amaze seasoned hunters and aksakals. In 1941, the Great Patriotic War began. In May 1942, a group of recruits from the Chimkent region, in which Tuleugali was also, arrived at the Kalinin Front, where the famous division named after Hero of the Soviet Union, Major General I.V. Panfilov, took up defense. The command of the 1077th regiment, having thoroughly studied the replenishment, placed the fighters taking into account their characteristics and capabilities. Upon learning that Abdybekov was a hunter, he was handed a rifle with a telescopic sight. Fighting days began. ... There were battles for the height. They lasted over a week. During these days, the sniper Abdybekov killed 19 enemies. The height was recaptured, but the Germans launched a counterattack. 25 enemy soldiers head straight for the Tuleugali trench. 25! And he is alone. Is this death? No ! Let the enemy die. The sharp-sighted eye of the steppe-hunter is leaning towards the optical sight. Here he is - the enemy, very close. This is an officer. Abdybekov knows how to beat for sure. A shot rang out, a shot through the enemy falls into the snow. Thuleugali takes aim again, and another falls, then another, and so on. The Germans are scared. They scamper to the sides, cannot understand where the sniper is shooting from, and in panic they shoot anywhere. And the sniper slowly and methodically sends one bullet after another. 25 Fritzes were walking to the foot of the hill. Now there are only three left. Tuleugali killed the 23rd 60 meters from his trench. And only two miraculously managed to escape. On this day, as comrades said, Tuleugali sent 35 fascist invaders to hell in hell. "As long as they see my eyes and my hands are holding the rifle tightly, there will be no life for the fascists," the sniper says. In a brief report of the hostilities of the 8th Guards Rifle Division in 1942, it was noted that by the 2nd rally of the division's snipers in December 1942, senior sergeant Abdybekov had already killed 219 fascists. The fame of the famous sniper - Panfilov's soldier Tuleugali Abdybekov spread throughout the front, about his military affairs on the eve of the new year, 1943, a broadcast was organized on the All-Union radio. On January 23, 1944, a close friend of Tuleugali, scout Grigory Postolnikov, a brave warrior who received his baptism of fire in the battles for Stalingrad, where he was awarded the medal "For Courage", died near the village of Melikhovo. Machine-gun fire from the enemy pillbox pushed our soldiers to the ground. Postolnikov saw his comrades fall under dagger fire. The decision was made instantly: a sharp rush to the pillbox, and his body covered the embrasure. The soldiers rushed to the attack with redoubled fury. The enemies were driven out of the village. Tuleugali Abdybekov grieved the death of his friend. At the funeral of Grigory on January 23, 1944, he takes an oath: "I, your brother, Kazakh Tuleugali Abdybekov, swear over your holy grave that I will mercilessly avenge the fascist monsters for your death, for the blood of Soviet people, for the grief and tears of our wives and mothers. . " During the days of the winter offensive of 1944, he was always in front, in the most critical areas, his well-aimed shots terrified and panicked enemies. The best German snipers hunted for him, but Tuleugali individually destroyed them. On the eve of the anniversary of the Soviet Army, a duel took place - a duel with another enemy sniper. At this time, Tuleugali had a bad cold, he was not well.The German beat him for a moment, and the first bullet hit Abdybekov, but the mortally wounded Tuleugali still managed to take revenge: the German sniper was killed on the spot by the last shot of the hero - the Kazakh. On February 23, 1944, on the day of the Soviet Army, Tuleugali Abdybekov died of his wounds and was buried northeast of the Nasva station of the Novo - Sokolniki district of the Kalinin region. For military exploits, Abdybekov Tuleugali Nasyrkhanovich was awarded the Orders of the Red Star, the Red Banner, posthumously - the Orders of the Patriotic War of the 1st degree and of Lenin.
