After graduation, he worked at the shipyard named K. Marx in the city of Astrakhan. He graduated from the FZU school, studied at the workers' faculty of the Institute of Water Transport Engineers. In the Soviet Army - since 1932. On the ticket of the Central Committee of the Komsomol in 1933, he was sent to the Engels military aviation school. In 1936 he was assigned to the Far East, served in Primorye. At the front - since June 1941. He fought on the Southwest, Stalingrad, 1st Ukrainian fronts. He made sorties to attack enemy personnel and equipment, provided cover and escort for his bombers and attack aircraft. 08/01/1942 Captain Abramchuk guarded the Stalingrad railway station and, while repelling an attack by a group of enemy aircraft, personally shot down two Ju-88 aircraft. One of the crew members was taken prisoner. Squadron commander of the 894th Fighter Aviation Regiment (101st Air Defense Fighter Air Division of the country's territory) Captain Abramchuk by June 1943 made 239 successful combat missions.
