Ismagilov Kiyam Khammatovich
My grandfather (born on March 18, 1926) lived in the Khaybulli region, the village of Akkuja. He graduated from 3 classes, then work is a need. 11/24/1943, was drafted from the Khaibulli Military Commissariat, Bashkir ASSR, was 365 western rifle regiment, military rank of rifleman, in December 1944, military unit of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, rifleman until June 1948. Remembering his childhood, our grandfather did not really like to talk about the war, no matter how much we asked him, kept silent, or joked. He could only tell when he wanted to speak out, probably ... From his story we know that military training took place in the Totsk camp, under Orenburg. He was called up together with his fellow villager Gainetdin Tulebaev. When asked was it scary to leave home at 17? He answered without hesitation: - No, because before being sent to the front, we went through excellent training not only in attack, but also in defense. Where did you have to fight? - I was in the Baltic States, in Ukraine, in Poland and it's a pity that twenty-five kilometers did not reach Berlin, they returned to the unit to eliminate the remnants of gangster groups. Looking at the old photo, I see the inscription Krakow in 1943, I ask what memories and feelings arise when looking on this photo? - First, you remember people who were side by side together during the hostilities and military sorties. He was silent for a while, after which he said that it was a pity that he did not remember everyone by their last name. And yet, he told about many of his comrades. - Oh, this is senior sergeant Kirishenko, a "great" politician. And then, all the seriousness disappeared from his face, and already with a smile said: "Ershin loved to add salt to food, and Usov Ivan Makarovich knew how to tell fairy tales, and everyone loved him for it. If he says:" I want to drink, "right there one of the soldiers jumped up and brought water. He always cheered people up. Without such soldiers there would be no hope of victory. Our grandfather was the best grandfather in the world !!! He always told us: "The worst thing on earth is war, a war that youthfulness, and the souls of our children and grandchildren. And we must all try to prevent wars on our planet at all "!!! Our grandfather was wounded in the legs, and until his death these injuries made themselves felt .. Despite this, the grandfather lived a decent life !! Thanks to him and to all Veterans for a peaceful sky over their heads !!!
