Andrianov Yakov Nikolaevich

DATE OF BIRTH: 01.01.1923 DATE OF DEATH: - HISTORY: Title: Sergeant Yakov Nikolaevich was drafted into the ranks of the Red Army in November 1941, demobilized in November 1945 as a specialist with higher education. Before the war, he graduated from the Saratov Institute of Finance and Economics, so he was eligible for an officer's position. But, wishing to end the war as quickly as possible, he served as a sergeant. For several years Yakov Nikolaevich served on the Karelian Isthmus. These were harsh everyday life. They lived in dugouts, ate in the snow, they shot on it and rested when the sun warmed up. Sometimes, after long hours of fighting, an overcoat froze to the snow, and had to be torn off. Repeatedly went on reconnaissance to "get a tongue." During the assault on the city of Kesting, he was lightly wounded in the back. The regiment in that battle was surrounded by the Germans, the command sent two more regiments to help, but they failed to take the city. These are the everyday life of the army. On the second Belorussian front, Andrianov Yakov Nikolaevich took part in the battle during the capture of Konigsberg. He was wounded by a shell fragment in the right side. He was carried out of the battlefield by a nurse, bleeding and unconscious. The hospital decided that the soldier had died, was taken to the morgue, where he lay until morning. In the morning, taking apart the corpses, they found signs of life in the wounded man. An urgent operation was carried out, two crushed ribs were taken out. Fortunately, the lungs hurt a little. So, everything worked out. My grandfather survived, but until the end of the war he was in the hospital. Now he is 91 years old, he is blind and deaf, but his warm heart keeps the memory of those terrible days and love for his Homeland. Thank you, grandfather, Yakov Nikolaevich, for the Victory over the Nazis, for the life given to us, children and grandchildren! Shishkin Nikita
