Rank: Senior sergeant. Troops: Communication Troops. He was born in 1924 in the village of Ostashkovo, Orekhovo-Zuyevsky district, Moscow region. He was called up on August 20, 1942 in the Orekhovo-Zuyevsky RVC, sent to a separate linear reserve communications regiment in Moscow and enlisted as a cadet. In October 1942, he was sent to the Stalingrad front near the city of Kalach, where he fought until December 1942. After completing the task, he served until March 1943 in the 324th separate communications battalion as a squad leader with the rank of Junior Sergeant. From Moscow he was transferred to the town of Orel. There he received the medal "For Merit in Combat". He took part in combat operations as part of the Steppe, Reserve, 1st and 2nd Belorussian fronts. At the end of 1944, the battalion crossed the state border and entered Polish land. In January 1945, as a platoon commander (senior Sergeant) participated in the breakthrough of a strong deep-echeloned German defense on the West Bank of the Vistula, South of Warsaw, where our troops captured the German defense strongholds in Varna, Grunets, Kozinice, Selec, Zvomyl, Bialobpsegi, Yedlina, Ilzha, for which he was awarded the order of the Patriotic War of the 2nd degree. He reached the Oder, where our troops began to prepare for the Berlin operation. From there, on April 5, 1945, he was sent to the city of Kiev for advanced training courses for officers of the Red Army. He was awarded two Orders of the Patriotic War of the 2nd degree, the Medal "For Courage", the Medal "For Combat Services", the Medal "For the Victory over Germany". He has gratitudes for the liberation of the cities of Unecha, Karachev, Bryansk, Oryol.
