In 1942, she volunteered for the Chkalovsky regional Military Commissariat and joined the Red Army on application. She was assigned to the Navy and sent to the Ulyanovsk Fleet semi-crew. On July 11, she was sent to the active Stalingrad Army in the 2nd Separate Trawling Brigade of the Volga Military Flotilla. From July 1942 to May 1944 she served as a storekeeper of the coastal base's clothing warehouse. During the day she recorded, received, stored, and issued personal belongings to the personnel of the minesweepers of the Separate Trawling Brigade of the Volga Military Flotilla. In shifts, at night she was a fighter of the NIS post: she marked the coordinates of the place where the Nazi aviation mines were laid on the Volga river in the assigned area. After the victory in the battle of Stalingrad, in 1944, the Volga Military Flotilla, which completed all combat missions, was disbanded. In July 1944 she was sent for further service in the Northern Fleet. Since July 1944. until June 1945 she served in units of the Northern fleet: in the Department of training and manning of the coastal base of the Kolsk Flotilla for the protection of the water area in the village of Tyuva-Guba and the city of Polyarny. She finished the war as a senior sailor in 1945 in the city of Polarnyy. During her service in the Soviet Navy, the government of the Soviet Union awarded one order and eleven medals of the USSR.
