According to the documents, on December 12, 1917, he was drafted by the Ranenburg military commanders of the Ryazan province, recognized as fit for combat service and enlisted in the cadres of the old army. This happened even before the October Revolution. On October 1, 1918, he was called up to mobilize the Ranenburg Commissariat of the Ryazan Region to participate in the Civil War on the side of the Red Army. From October 1918 to April 1919 he served in the 1st Moscow Partisan Regiment. Was injured. He was treated in a hospital. From December 1919 to September 1921 he served in the 2nd Separate local Rifle Battalion as a shooter.
On September 14, 1921 he was transferred to the reserve. From 1939 - 1940 he took part in the Soviet-Finnish war. On January 29, 1942, he was called up to mobilize the Troekurovsky Commissariat of the Ryazan region. From January 1942 to March 1942 he served in the 40th Infantry Brigade, 135th Guards Artillery Uzhgorod Regiment. Position was a shooter. He was seriously wounded. From March 1942 to August 1942 he was treated at the hospital No. 1656 in the city of Chkalov (Orenburg). Then he fought in the 135th Guards Uzhgorod Artillery Regiment, the 293rd Infantry Division (which was later honorably renamed the 66th Guards Infantry Poltava Red Banner Division). Participated in the Battle of Stalingrad. He fought at the Kursk Bulge. He fought in Ukraine. Liberated the city of Poltava.
He was fighting in Hungary. He participated in the capture of the city of Budapest. Reached the Austrian Alps. He ended the war in Austria. Demobilized on September 4, 1945 on the basis of the law of the USSR Supreme Soviet of June 23, 1945.

While at war, Tyunin Yegor Andreevich in October 1944 became a member of the Communist Party, card number 6907694. After the Great Patriotic War, Yegor Andreevich Tyunin was promoted to Chairman of the kolkhoz. He was married once, had ten children. Tyunin Yegor Andreevich died on April 27, 1962 from esophageal cancer.
