Member of the CPSU since 1942. In 1940, he graduated from the 3rd Moscow special artillery school and was sent as an excellent student to the 3rd Leningrad artillery school. On June 22, 1941, he engaged in household work in summer camps in Luga. At 12 o'clock in the afternoon, the school was alerted. At the general design, the head of the school, Colonel Sanko, announced to cadets about the treacherous attack of the Nazis on the homeland. On June 26, 1941, the second division of the school was loaded into the echelon, and cadets moved along the route Pskov - Ostrov - Siauliai. Many cities were liberated. With fierce fighting, they took part in the encirclement and capture of Berlin from 30.04.1945 to 02.05.1945, and on May 9, 1945, the brigade under the command of Colonel Selivanchik was one of the first to approach prague, the capital of the Czechoslovak Republic, freeing it from the German invaders. On May 9, 1945, Emelianenko Vladimir finished the war as a battery commander with the military rank of Captain. He was awarded of medal "For Courage", “For the liberation of Vyazma” (12.03.1943). During the assault in one of the houses, Vladimir with the intelligence man Potylitsin captured two Germans with important documents. Vladimir was awarded of the order of the Patriotic war, 2nd class, for participation in the battles on the Kursk bulge. He was awarded of the Order of the Red Star for participating in the battles for Lviv and Przemyslany, Order of the Patriotic war 1st class for the liberation of Petrakow in Poland, Order of Kutuzov 3rd degree No. 561 for crossing the Oder river, Medal "For combat service", Order of the Red Star, Order of the Patriotic war 1st class in commemoration of the 40th anniversary of the Victory. He died in 2001 with the rank of Colonel (awarded of 3 orders, was wounded twice).
