Among the heroes is her daughter Vera, a Komsomol member who voluntarily left for the front and passed away on the Smolensk land. She convincingly asked the Komsomol organization to recommend her as a fighter in the ranks of the Red Army. In the Reserve Regiment, the girls underwent medical training, got acquainted with small arms, and went to the front.
