"Fulfilling the order of the road clearance command in the area of Ustenets farms, private Stoyalov acted boldly and bravely. Despite the mortar and artillery fire from the enemy, he fulfilled his combat order ahead of schedule, neutralizing 45 anti-tank mines of the enemy. Thus, he ensured the fulfillment of the mission and created a full possibility for the advancing of the corps. _x000D_
A private Stoyanov is worthy of the governmental medal "For Courage" on October 16, 1944 for exemplary performance of combat missions of the command on the front of the fight against the German invaders and for his valor and courage. _x000D_
The next award list entry, filled out by the Battalion Commander, Captain Blinder, says: "Junior Sergeant Stoyalov has been in the battalion from the beginning of its formation and went through the entire combat path of the battalion. On April 28, 1945, Junior Sergeant Stoyalov supervised the work of his squad during the construction of the bridge.
