Muzhichenko Grigory Mironovich was drafted into the Red Army on April 7, 1941 by the Staroproyslov Comissariat of the Chechen-Ingush ASSR. From the first days of the Great Patriotic War until its end, he was fighting the German-fascist invaders in various divisions. Since June 1941, Grigory Mironovich was a private in 28th Separate Sapper Battalion, 14th Sapper Brigade of the Western front until February 1942. _x000D_ From February 1942 to April 1942, he was a private in the 100th Western Rifle Regiment. From April 1942 to January 1943 , he was a private in 836th Rifle Regiment of 240th Rifle Division of the Voronezh front. On 16.09.1942 he was lightly wounded in the arm. On 10.1942 he was lightly wounded in the arm, again. On 01.1943 he was severely wounded in the chest. _x000D_ From January 1943 to may 1943, Grigory Mironovich was treated in a hospital in the city of Leipzig. From may 1943 to September 1944, he was a Commander of a Reconnaissance Platoon in 204th Rifle Division of the Central front. From September 1944 to December 1944, he was a cadet in the political staff of 1st Baltic front. From December 1944 to December 1945 he was a Communist leader of the battalion in 265th separate sapper battalion of 156th Rifle Division of the Leningrad front. _x000D_ During the great Patriotic war, G. M. Muzhichenko was awarded orders and medals. The order of the Red Star was awarded on 11.10.1943._x000D_ "On 01.10.1943 Senior Sergeant Muzhichenko G. M. with a group of 10 recons was ordered: in the area of the village of Shatilova, Smolensk region, to estimate enemy forces and get a prisoner.
