In 1942 he joined the Komsomol, and in 1943 Anatoly Krestilnikov, a 17-year-old boy, went to the front. Today, a former war veteran and pensioner lives on Danilov land, to which he devoted his life. Modesty, honesty and responsiveness have always distinguished this man. Since October 1944, together with his fellow countrymen I.I.Goryanov and V.I.Ternov, he served in the 2nd Baltic Front. Right up to the Victory the young commander of "Katyusha" smashed the enemy. Cold, famine, dampness and all the hardships of wartime experienced the young fighters: the character was hardened, the will was formed. Somewhere "near" fought his father, who went to the front, despite the reservation. During the war, they never had to meet. With pain in his heart, his son took the news that his father was missing. Knowing where his father's combat units (marsh tops) were held, Anatoly always believed that he died in battle with honor, as befits a Russian soldier ... With the end of the war, service in the army continued until 1950, here he became a candidate, and joined the Communist Party in 1953. It was solemn and memorable forever. He returned to his native land with the Order of Glory. Many girls with good envy followed a handsome young man with their glances, but he chose his only Lida. A precious vessel of love, his devotion he carried through all their live together, he was always a caring husband... He did not sleep, as well as his subordinates, during the nights of the mass calving, together built new buildings and cowsheds, prepared feed ... In 1970, fellow villagers showed Anatoly Pavlovich great trust – he was elected the chairman of the Loboikovsky Village Council. Together with the honorary position, new worries and difficulties were laid on his shoulders. Dozens of human problems had to be solved every day. The leader was always in full view, he had no weekends or holidays, and he helped the villagers as much as he could. Now, being on a well-deserved rest, the veteran of war and labor often remembers the harsh winters, snow drifts, delivery of patients to the district hospital, and collective farm business.
